Common customs forms
Below are some of the key documents that importers and exporters most frequently need. All files are available for download in fillable PDF format.
Required for most commercial goods imported into Canada. The CCI provides detailed information about the shipment’s contents, value, and country of origin.
A standard form used worldwide to describe the goods sold, including their value, description, and terms of sale.
CUSMA / USMCA Certificate of Origin
Certifies that goods qualify for preferential tariff treatment under the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement.
B3 – Canada Customs Coding Form
The official accounting document used by CBSA to assess duties and taxes on imported goods.
Importer/Exporter Account Application (BN)
Used to register for a Business Number (BN) with the Canada Revenue Agency to import or export commercially.
